Overview
The Pahang State Secretary Office, or Pejabat Setiausaha Kerajaan Pahang (SUK Pahang), focuses on the effective delivery of civil services to the citizens of Pahang state.
Its vision is to become a leader of civil harmony and sustainable development for a developed Pahang by 2030 (Peneraju kemakmuran rakyat dan pembangunan mampan ke arah Pahang maju 2030).
Its mission is to empower sustainable, inclusive, and integrity-driven civil service delivery and administration (Memperkasakan sistem penyampaian perkhidmatan dan pengurusan sumber secara lestari, inklusif dan berintegriti).
Key Priorities
In line with national policies such as MyDIGITAL and the National Fourth Industry Revolution (4IR) Policy, SUK Pahang is driven by its own digitalisation policy: Pelan Strategik Pendigitalan Pejabat Setiausaha Kerajaan (PSPPSUK) Pahang 2022 – 2025.
The blueprint acts as a key reference in yearly planning preparations for each department and unit within the SUK Pahang office. It consists of three thrusts and seven corresponding strategies:
Thrust 1: Strengthening State Applications
- Strategy 1.1: Fortifying applications holistically and systematically to increase safety, surveillance, and data integrity, along with state information sharing.
- Strategy 1.2: Optimising application usage by enhancing platform digital delivery and capability that can directly benefit state-level digitalisation initiatives.
Thrust 2: Strengthening Infrastructure
- Strategy 2.1: Ensuring adequate infrastructural capabilities and readiness to increase the accessibility of digital civil services.
- Strategy 2.2: Sustaining the readiness and continuity of digital civil services through strict regulation of information security.
Thrust 3: Empowering Digital Talent
- Strategy 3.1: Developing and implementing state-level policies that drive digitalised operations within state affairs.
- Strategy 3.2: Strengthening the management structure of the state’s information system services organisation.
- Strategy 3.3: Developing digital talent and a digitalisation culture within the state office.
