  • Committed to making TNB Genco the premier clean energy provider in Southeast Asia, he leads with a focus on growth, sustainability & global impact.

Ir. Mahathir Nor bin Ismail

  • Former Managing Director of TNB Energy Service (TNBES) and TNB Engineering Corporation Sdn Bhd (TNEC).
  • Current board member of TNB Retail Sdn Bhd (TRSB) and joint-venture entities like FTJ Bio Power Sdn Bhd and Metrosphere Hydro Tersat Sdn Bhd
  • Strategic priority: enhancing TNB’s Distribution Network to align to the National Energy Transition Roadmap (NETR).

Kamal Arifin bin A. Rahman

  • Former Head of Centralised Operations & Centre of Excellence in TNB’s Retail Division.
  • Strategic priority: Enabling TNB’s new retail business growth in the kWh core business and beyond Energy products and services

  • Leads the company’s nationwide IT strategy and operations, which includes IT infrastructure, application, telecommunications network, and cybersecurity.
  • Responsible for deploying sustainable, holistic and secure technology solutions across TNB and driving the corporation’s digitalisation agenda.

Chief Global Business Solutions Officer

DATUK Ir. AZMI BIN MD YUSOF.

  • Datuk Ir. Azmi oversee shared services in Service Delivery, Security, Property, Health Care, Fleet, and Corporate Affairs ensuring quality and cost-efficiency for TNB and its subsidiaries.
  • Previously, served as State Stakeholder Affairs Officer, focusing on strategic partnerships. He is also on the boards of Tenaga Cable Industries, TNB LSS Bukit Selambau Solar and TNB LSS Sepang Solar.

Chief New Energy Officer

Mohd Zarihi bin Mohd Hashim

  • Former Vice President of Axiata Digital and Axiata Group.
  • Responsibilities extend across various investment lifecycles from deal origination, structuring, valuation, due diligence, operational value creation and investment exit.

Chief Financial Officer

  • Badrulhisyam Fauzi oversee the Group Finance Division to drive financial sustainability and operational excellence for TNB.
  • Previously served as Group CFO at MMC Corporation Berhad and Covering Chief Executive Officer of Alam Flora Sdn. Bhd. He also held key investment roles at Permodalan Nasional Berhad earlier in his career.

  • Prior to her appointment, she held pivotal portfolios including Head of Operations, TNB Global Business Solutions (TGBS) and Senior General Manager of People Strategy & Organization Effectiveness, Group HR.

  • Appointed as Chief Sustainability Officer at Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) on 1st June 2023.
  • Her role involves leading TNB’s sustainability initiatives and ensuring they align with corporate goals to enhance resilience and long-term success.

Chief Procurement Officer

Amir Mahmod Abdullah

  • He defines and manages the long-term group-wide procurement strategy, defines the group-wide cost reduction initiatives, role and scope of central procurement, and defines implementation of best practices.
  • He also oversees the overall skill building and knowledge transfer program. Besides all these, he oversees relationships and negotiations with strategic suppliers and the Bumiputra vendor development program.
  • Lastly, in terms of policies and compliance, he deals with group-wide procurement policies and monitors procurement policies and auditing of compliance.
